MEET: BOI

This story begins in a remote area near the village of Quelessebougou, in Mali Africa.

Boi (pronounced Boo-wah) is a seven-year-old boy with loving parents and siblings. What differentiates Boi from the rest of the kids in the village is that he has a tumor that has been growing on the side of his face for nearly three years.

Elizabeth Alex, MMF Board Member and news anchor on NBC Action News, will be airing an exclusive story on Boi's surgery during the week of May 12th.

CURRENT MISSION: PANAMA

Our team of Medical Mission Foundation volunteers, led by Dr. Frank and Diane Koranda arrived in Panama on April 12th.  Families traveled for hours to get to the clinic in order to receive medical care.

An art team led by Barbara and Christopher Cusick helped children create picture frames and took pictures of the children and their families as they awaited treatment.  For many of these children, it was the first time they had ever seen a picture of themselves.
